Masterclass

I offer a workshop rooted in my choreographic world, blending precision with the joy of movement. Using tools drawn from my research—somatic practice, articulation, isolations, and contrasts in movement quality—we will refine our body awareness and our ability to set the body in motion. By engaging the imagination, we will explore movement imbued with intention or emotion. The work will be informed by material from my upcoming creation, which centres on rhythm and repetition.

Léa Vinette

After studying at the conservatories of Nantes and Lyon, Léa Vinette joined the ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands, and in 2020 she entered Charleroi Danse, where she met Mark Tompkins, Boris Charmatz, Lia Rodrigues, and Nora Chipaumire. Léa has performed in works by Louise Vanneste, Michèle Murray, Tabea Martin, and Marielle Morales. In 2014, Léa encountered Florence Augendre and her work on fasciapulsology applied to dance. This meeting became a line of research within Léa’s choreographic practice, beginning with the solo Nox (2022), followed by the duet Nos FEUX(2024) with Ido Batash, and the trio Éclats (2026) with Daniel Barkan and Vincent Dupuy. She is currently an associate artist at Cndc Angers, supported by the Tremplin program and accompanied by the Grand Studio in Brussels.

Classes take place once a month from 10 am to 4 pm at Le Quartz (Brest)

Annual fee: €150 per year for 8 masterclasses and 1 workshop
Individual fee: €25 per masterclass
Two-day workshop fee: €50
Fee for University of Western Brittany students: €5 per month or €35 per year*
GANG membership fee: 5€ per season
